The external exams have started and continue to the end of June. For the Upper 6th and One Year students this is the culmination of their work at the college and the results will have a significant impact on their future options. For Lower Sixth and some BTEC students exam results will help determine their study programme and progression opportunities for next year.
Coaches have discussed revision timetables and approaches to study over this period to help achieve the best results, we would ask parents to work with their sons and daughters to keep on track with revision. Students should arrive at College at least half an hour before their exams to make sure they know which room they have to go to. They should also have sufficient pens and the necessary equipment required for the paper. The night before they should try to get a good night’s sleep so they are fresh, ready and calm for the exam. It is easy for us to advise such things but it is much more effective when you reinforce the messages at home.
I wish your son/daughter every success in their examinations.
