Summer Term Preparation
The next few weeks see the key preparations and final lessons for students who are sitting A level, AS Level and GCSE exams this summer. I would encourage you to ensure that your son /daughter attends all their timetabled lessons in order to receive the best advice and support to be successful in their exams.
It is a time when final “tips” and guidance are given to students as to how to be successful. We have produced a summer pack to help. There will be additional revision classes in many subjects which students should make the best use of. As parents I would ask that you support your son/daughter in keeping a balanced lifestyle. Students must work hard but at the same time they should eat properly, have sufficient sleep and allow some time for recreation and exercise.
For student completing BTEC programmes it is the final push for assignments to be improved in order to achieve the highest grades. Attendance at all lessons is essential to get the advice and guidance that is vitally important to secure the best possible grades.
The College will do its utmost to support and encourage your son/daughter over the coming weeks in order for them to achieve their maximum potential and prepare them for leaving College.
