Rainham Campus is open from Monday 21st September.

We will be in touch with you via email or text to advise of start dates and times.

Your first day will be a brief introduction to Rainham campus workshop safety, your qualification and general information that will support you on your course.

Please ensure you bring a face mask/covering to college. Hand sanitiser will be available throughout the college for regular use.

We thank you for your patience, we are sure you will be impressed by our truly magnificent building.

Havering Colleges’ Rainham campus in New Road, Rainham, is ideally situated for local people looking for training for the highly skilled employment opportunities available locally. There are ample parking facilities for students, staff and visitors and it is accessible by public transport - buses 165, 287 and 372 stop right outside the site and the 103 from Rainham Station stops nearby.

Rainham is currently our Construction Centre for students engaged in learning the trades of Bricklaying, Carpentry, Multi-Skills and Painting & Decorating. There are also courses such as Construction & The Built Environment for students aiming for managerial roles within the industry.

We are currently engaged in a £15m redevelopment of the site which is scheduled for completion by the end of 2020 or early in 2021 and will see a new specialist training facility interlinked to the fully refurbished current building, creating a Construction and Engineering Centre that will offer state-of-the-art facilities. Once completed the new centre will offer courses in Plumbing, Engineering and Electrical, alongside the current courses.

From September we expect to have in the region of 1,200 students being educated at Rainham.
