Over the course of the academic year, there are many opportunities for prospective students and their parents/guardians to visit the College.
Open Days are an important and valuable opportunity to meet teachers, other staff and current students, and to find out more about the courses, support and facilities available. They are also a good way to generally get a feel for the College.
We do recommend taking the time to research the courses thoroughly before your visit as it is important that you make the appropriate choice of programme and subjects and, either before or at the start of your visit, to plan your day to get the most from it. An information booklet will be handed to you on arrival at the College confirming the locations and timings of the subject sessions.
At our Open Days you are able to:
- Attend presentations on courses and subjects
- Listen to the Principal's talk
- Discuss your course choices and find out course requirements
- Drop in to subject areas to ask questions
- Meet teachers and current students
- Look around our buildings, classrooms and facilities
- Have something to eat and drink in our College Restaurant
Our Open Days are extremely popular so it is likely that parking will be severely limited, please consider therefore using public transport but if you do come by car and need to park in nearby streets please allow time to park and walk to the College and please be considerate to our neighbours. There will be reserved parking for people with disabilities – please ask one of our car park team for help.
We strongly encourage students to attend the Open Days with a parent, guardian or other adult. Please be aware that large groups of unaccompanied students may be refused admission to the Open Day.
For further information, please call our Admissions Team on 01708 514400.
