Early Years Health Social Care

What's Involved

This is a 12 week course for adults with continuous start dates throughout the year. With guidance and support you'll work online towards achieving a recognised Level 2 qualification, and receive your certificate on completion. Please apply or contact us for further information.

This qualification provides a broad range of knowledge and information for those who want to work in mental health, a care sector which presents one of the greatest challenges to our society, with an estimated 450 million sufferers worldwide.

Course Content:

  • Gain skills and understanding to improve the experiences of service users;
  • Understand the importance of duty of care in adult health and social care;
  • Understand the role of the mental health worker;
  • Learn the correct approach to care and management.

Entry Requirements

Eligibility criteria:

  • Age 19+
  • Lived in the EU for 3 years.

Course Assessment Method

What you will learn:

  • Understand the Role of the Mental Health Worker;
  • Mental Health and Mental Health Issues;
  • Understand Duty of Care in Adult Health and Social Care;
  • Approaches to Care and Management in Mental Health;
  • Understanding Change and Support in Relation to Mental Health.

As part of your registration process for online learning you will have to attend a short induction to provide evidence of your eligibility. You will not have to attend an interview.
