What's Involved

This qualification runs at Entry Level 3. All students are fully supported in and out of the class if required. The focus of this course is to develop the understanding, knowledge and skills the students will need to prepare for work in different occupational areas.

  • The course runs 3 days per week;
  • You will gain a nationally recognised qualifications in Occupational Studies and will study English and Maths;
  • You will undertake work placement/experience, with support if required.

Timetabled lessons include:

  • Maths;
  • English;
  • Introduction to customer service;
  • Planning and taking part in a visit;
  • Working in a team;
  • Participating in leisure activities.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal requirements. Entry is via successful interview.

Where will it take me?

There is the opportunity for progression onto another Entry Level 3 Qualification or a higher level course.

Assessment is ongoing through the academic year.
