School LeaversIn conjunction with Havering Technical College May & Baker Ltd are sponsoring a special course beginning in September, 1969 for young people who wish to become laboratory technicians.

Students accepted on this course will be employed by May & Baker Ltd and will attend Havering Technical College full time for 10 months in order to study for the City and Guilds Science Laboratory Technicians Certificate and for the General Course in Science.

During both the Christmas and Easter holidays short periods will be spent in the Company’s Dagenham laboratories. On satisfactory completion of the College course, students will be appointed to positions in May & Baker Ltd laboratories.

Boys and girls who are interested in a scientific career are invited to apply for this course by writing to the Personal Officer, Dagenham, Essex, quoting reference No. 43/69. Closing date for applications is Friday, the 18th April, 1969.
