Over the past few months we have won our fair share of awards, which is testament to our commitment of delivering high quality education and training that responds to the needs of employers and individuals.
Most recently, Sophie Duggan won the ‘Apprentice of the Year’ award at last night’s London Region Construction Training Group (LRCTG)’s annual ceremony, which celebrates individual and corporate achievement in construction across the capital.
Being a female in a male-dominated environment did not deter Sophie at all, and she was quite the model student at Havering College; her attendance was exemplary, achieving 100% during her entire time here, and her assignments were always completed on time to a very high standard. As such, she was crowned the Havering College work-base student of the year in 2016 – another award to her name.
She is currently working full-time at Chelmer House Partnership, where she completed both her level two and level three plumbing apprenticeship with us, managing her own caseload and tasks.
We would like to congratulate Sophie for all of her hard-work – winning this award truly emphasises that.
If you are interested in any of our plumbing courses, we encourage you to come along to our Quarles campus open event on Wednesday 31st October, where you will be able to speak to the team and see the facilities.
