havering college performing arts art in motion

It is sad to hear about the closing of the renowned CPA Studios Colins Performing Arts College

After more than 30 years of operation, the renowned Romford-based College – which boasts Jessie J and James Buckley amongst its former students – announced its sudden closure on August 7th due to financial difficulties, leaving many students and staff stuck in the dark.

As such, Havering College is welcoming late auditions for anyone who is still unsure of where they would like to continue their training for the performing arts, or those who would like to start it. It is not too late to enrol on what could be the start of a great career in the industry, so find out more before it’s too late!

A total of 52 students are left looking for places on other training courses after the end of an era at CPA Studios and the college is doing all that they can to assist them in doing so. Nick Crossley, head of dance, said:

As staff, we are trying to coordinate our efforts to make sure all the students that want to continue training have the option to continue training.
