havering college stepping stones nursery

Our Level 1 Art and Design students spent the past few weeks decorating the Stepping Stones Day Nursery at the Ardleigh Green Campus.

Rain, snow or sun, the students have dedicated their time to making the nursery more visually pleasing and befitting to the ‘Good’ rating it received in the most recent Ofsted inspection this year. What was once a plain, ordinary building is now vibrant and energetic and has really been brought to life.

It has been a great opportunity for the students to get some hands-on work experience and develop skills they can carry forward to further study and potential careers. Not only that, they have also had an impact on the nursery kids who will be able to learn from the paintings as they grow.

College Vice Principal Asfa Sohail recently commended the students for their efforts and dedication. Thanking them in person, she said:

You have done a fantastic job and your contributions are all appreciated. You have demonstrated great skills and should all be very proud of the mural you have created.

A huge well done and thanks to all students involved in brightening up the nursery!
