Our catering students enjoyed an informative day out with Delaware North at the London Stadium in London to learn more about the ins and outs of this lucrative industry. The day consisted of food tasting, a full tour of the catering establishment, and a mini cooking session that involved prepping meats and making truffle cabbage puree with executive head chef, Gary Foake.
Working in partnership with Delaware North, a global leader in hospitality and food service, our students were given the chance to ask vital questions to industry experts and experience working in mass scale kitchens.

Tony Pecoraro, our head chef at the Jubilee Restaurant was the lead for the day, and provided the students with more exposure to the food and catering. Tony stated:
The visit and tour was very educational and enjoyed by all students and staff. Students had the opportunity to taste the food, watch the food demonstration by Gary Foakes, ask questions and apply for jobs.
