We are delighted to announce that the College has been selected to take part in the Work Placement Pilot for academic year 2017/18.  The Department For Education have stated that work placements should aim for 60 working days duration, with 40 working days being the absolute minimum. Havering College is one of the few providers who will be piloting this project nationally, with a view to a full project roll out for all providers during the 2018/19 academic year. Head of Skills and Apprenticeships Steve Lee who is leading on this project for the college said "Being part a of this pilot provides us and our employers with a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of post 16 work experience in this country."
