Havering College Students Present Hampers

The students from Inclusive and Foundation Learning decided that they wanted to give something personal to the local community this Christmas. They chose the residents of Bards Court Sheltered Complex whose lives they thought might be brightened by some individual Christmas cheer. They put together 28 festive hampers which included a wide range of non-perishable foods which had been donated by staff and students.  The students themselves then then held a raffle which raised over £50 to spend on luxury additions to the hampers such as Christmas puddings, cakes and chocolates.

The hampers were delivered to the residents by the students and were received with much excitement and enthusiasm.
