On 26th March 2015, Havering College are hosting the Careers and Ideas show to give students a chance to explore the world of work, higher education and apprenticeships.

For web main text HC-Carrers-Show-2015-CMYL-OL-2v2

The objective of the day is to highlight the opportunities for year 9, 10 and 11 students coming to Havering College and also for older students to focus on the progression from education into the world of work. Those attending will be introduced to potential career paths, apprenticeship opportunities and work placement ideas that they may not otherwise have considered.

Employer engagement is central to the day’s activities; we are looking to put on around 20 ‘have-a-go’ workshops where students are able to get some hands-on-experience in areas such as construction, health & social care, catering and sport along with several other areas of key interest.
