What's Involved

CILT (UK) Level 2 Certificate in Logistics and Transport offers a broad understanding of the principles, applications and concepts of logistics. This qualification gives learners the opportunity to focus on an area of specialism or interest to gain introductory knowledge of the industry.

This course provides an introduction to the theories of integrated supply-chain management and establishes the framework and environment in which each sector operates. The course provides the student knowledge of logistics relating to the movement of goods and people and how warehousing and transportation play an important factor. The CILT (UK) Level 2 Certificate in Logistics and Transport is designed for new entrants to the logistics and transport sector and is suitable for front line and supervisory staff working in the industry.

Entry Requirements

There are no specific entry requirements but candidates should have a good knowledge of English, both reading and writing, and basic skills in maths.

Course Assessment Method

To achieve this qualification Learners must complete two mandatory and two optional units from a choice of six, by completing a series of assessments and tasks which are externally assessed by CILT.
