This is a broad based practical degree for people who enjoy making objects or designing spaces. You will be introduced to Product Design, Furniture Design, Jewellery Design, Glass, Ceramics, Interior Design, and be taught how to research effectively. In the second year you have the opportunity to specialise in three subjects of your choice and study the software and business skills needed to work as a Professional. During this year you are encouraged to do design commissions, design shows such as (ELDS) East London Design Show and work placements.
In the third year you will make a set of work, based around a self-written assignment, focusing on the skills and ideas that have become your strength during the course.
