Tuition Fee information with current rates can be gained from the HE Officer for Threshold Services he@havering-college.ac.uk. Candidates will additionally need to pay an enrolment fee, currently £45. The GSCC require £10 per year for student registration. The CRB checks cost £44. Candidates should apply to their local education award office for further information on student support. It is possible to get hold of more information from the government's website.
Bursaries are available to all student social workers who are not international students and have not previously received bursaries for that year. The bursaries are approximately £4,000 for a full time student.
Students applying for the bursary should not apply to their local education authority for tuition fee support. Further information and advice can be obtained from the HE Student Services Support Worker on 01708 455011 ext. 4044.
