KS 4 Engagement Programme
This programme is aimed at engaging 14 – 16 year olds who for a number of reasons need a different way of learning new things than that which may traditionally have been offered.
It aims to motivate students who are likely to be stimulated by a more work-focused learning environment and encourage them to complete key stage 4 and progress to further learning, training or employment.
In Havering, the Key Stage 4 Engagement Programme is currently a pilot involving the following schools:
Albany, Marshalls Park, King’s Wood, Royal Liberty, Frances Bardsley, Bower Park, Sanders Draper.
A range of organisations provide an enormous amount of experiences and learning opportunities for the programme and some of them currently are:
• Motorvations
• London Fire Brigade
• Youth Support Service
• YMCA
• Face Forward
