This course is ideal for anyone looking to pursue a future career within the Creative Arts industry. The range of career opportunity in Creative Arts is diverse and the Access course at Havering College is designed specifically to meet the needs of adult learners in preparation for progression to higher education. Through practical projects you will expand both your technical and creative skills and be encouraged to develop your study skills including research, analysis and presentation of your creative thinking process. You will have access to practical workshops and studios to develop your skills.
You do not need any formal qualifications but an aptitude for creating artworks and ability to think through design problems. There are also written elements to the course so a good level of literacy is helpful.
