Havering College’s acclaimed Jubilee Restaurant was recently successful in securing a £10,000 grant from The Savoy Educational Trust to modernise its facilities.
The college used the grant to purchase new equipment for the restaurant which gives Catering and Hospitality students the opportunity to learn in a real working environment under the supervision of trained chefs. Tony Pecoraro, Food Service Lecturer and Restaurant Manager commented
Purchasing new equipment for the restaurant enabled us to modernise our facilities in line with the catering industry. It will be of great benefit to our students.
