Construction centre open for enrolment this Saturday
LAY the foundation for a career in the construction industry by coming along to Havering College’s Rainham Campus Construction Centre on Saturday.
The construction centre in New Road, Rainham, will be open on Saturday, 8th September from 10am-2pm for information on courses in Painting & Decorating, Carpentry & Joinery and Bricklaying.
Higher Education courses leading to careers in Surveying, Architecture and Site Management are also available.
In addition there are some evening courses for learning the basics of a trade skill.
Potential students will be able to enrol on the day.
There are no tuition fees for young people aged 16 to 18.
Havering College head of school for Construction Lee Mills said: “The construction industry is a major source of employment and provides a wide variety of career opportunities.
“The college has invested heavily in creating a specialist centre for training the skilled professionals in high demand from employers.”
