          Havering College Stimulates Economic Growth
   
  • Havering College's past and present activities account for £58.4 million in labour income (i.e., salaries) and £26.3 million in non-labour income (i.e., dividends, interest, and rent) in the region’s current economy.
  • Altogether, the Havering economy receives roughly £84.7 million in added income due to the annual operations of Havering College and the cumulative effects of its past and present learners.

          Havering College Raises Consumer Spending
  • Havering College employed 886 staff during Financial Year 2007-08, with an annual payroll of £21.9 million.
  • Havering College spent a total of £33.7 million during the analysis year, including purchases of supplies and services.
  • Approximately 51% of Havering College’s learners either commuted or relocated to Havering from outside the region. These learners generated an estimated £3 million in sales while attending college.
