The Overseas Admissions team in Threshold Services provide advice and guidance to students who are unsure which course is most suitable for their needs. Student Visa. If you need to apply for a student visa you will need to be accepted on to a full-time programme of study. Once the College has offered you a place on a course, Threshold Services will provide supporting documentation for your visa application in accordance with the UK Borders Agency’s regulations.

By being one of our students, you will benefit from state-of-the-art facilities, quality teaching and friendly support staff. Our internationally recognised qualifications can be used anywhere in the world. We are situated on the doorstep of one of the most vibrant and thriving cities in the world - London. Our three campuses are easily accessible by road or public transport and are a 30 minute train journey from the centre of London.

Are you an overseas fee payer? All students applying for courses at Havering College will be assessed to determine if they will pay “home” or “overseas” fees. This assessment is based on a number of factors including nationality and residential status. Students who are assessed as overseas fee payers may have to pay a higher tuition fee, depending on their chosen course. Students are also advised that their fee paying status may be different depending on whether they are applying for an FE or an HE course.

Our advisors attend regular training to ensure that they are aware of the latest fee assessment requirements. If you are unsure whether you qualify for Home fees, please contact Threshold Services.

International students living in the UK may still be overseas fee payers and will be asked to complete a fee assessment questionnaire as part of the admissions procedure. They may be asked to provide documentation that supports the answers given in the questionnaire. Threshold Services will then determine whether you are eligible for Home Fee Status or Overseas Fee Status.
